The team you’ll be part of Based in Jakarta, the Head of L&C is responsible for performing and ensuring adequate legal and compliance support in Indonesia and Vietnam and other neighboring countries as applicable (“Sub-market”). As the Head of L&C, you will be responsible for positioning the Sub-market legal team reporting to you as trusted legal advisors to enable Nokia’s sustainable business in the Sub-market unit. In this strategic and operational legal leadership role, you will be part of the Sub-market unit Leadership and engage with the Sub-market unit Business Group Leadership ensuring that all business decisions meet commercial, legal and regulatory requirements. The role will be reporting to the Head of NBO L&C -Asia Pacific Japan and part of the APJ L&C leadership team. What you will learn and contribute to Your role will be a business partner and be involved in key management decisions for the Sub-market unit. Besides the management role, you will need to oversee all legal and compliance matters in Nokia’s business and operations in the Sub-market unit and provide training and guidance to your team to ensure business receives the best legal support across different line of Nokia’s businesses. Your skills and experience A qualified lawyer in Indonesia. Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience with multinational companies and/or top tier law firms Excellent academic record and working references / credentials Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English, (local language is added advantage) Experience in technology or telecommunications industry is a plus Extensive experience in drafting commercial documents and managing negotiations with customers Excellent legal skills and knowledge of contract and commercial law Proven track record in stakeholder management, with ability to interact and integrate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Formulates operational guidelines to support the business teams Strives for a working environment which encourages teamwork and innovation.
